Add to CRM

A Chrome extension that adds people from LinkedIn, Gmail and Outlook to your CRM in one click, with a verified email.

One of our own products: we designed it, built it and run it. What we did: the product, the extension, integrations with 29+ CRMs, and billing. Founded and run by Phil.

Add to CRM: the extension beside a contact's profile, showing their email and phone, with a button that adds them to Pipedrive

What it is

Add to CRM is a Chrome extension for people who find prospects on LinkedIn and in their inbox. One click finds the person's verified email and adds them, with their company and role, to the CRM the team already uses.

It is a paid product with its own customers, so it has to work with dozens of CRMs, each with its own API, limits and quirks, and keep working when any of them changes.

What we built

  • The extension

Shown beside a profile on LinkedIn, Gmail or Outlook; it finds the contact's details and adds them to the CRM in one click.

  • Integrations with 29+ CRMs

Each with its own field mapping and sign-in, and branded copies of the extension built for individual CRMs.

  • Enrichment

Several data providers are asked for each contact and their answers merged, and a credit is only charged when an email is found.

  • Billing and accounts

Teams, seats, trials and credits through Stripe, and a connector for ChatGPT and Claude.

How it's kept working

The parts of the engineering a customer never sees, and the reason it keeps running.

  • About 900 CRM tests run without any live credentials in around 80 seconds, so every integration is checked on every change.
  • CRM credentials are encrypted on the server.
  • Nothing runs automatically on linkedin.com and nothing is ever written to LinkedIn.
